The Create Service workflow has empowered Cloud Foundry Developers for years, but we have seen many places wrestle with Enterprise grade data services vs the simplicity of the Create Service workflow. We want you to see how we are bridging the gap. We will show you the next generation of service broker, that combine the CF BrokerAPI service with Blacksmith (a service to create services with BOSH), a simple interface to create services with scripting (scripts to create RDS, CloudDB, MongoDB Enterprise, etc) and handle the secrets generated, with a UI that the Data Team can use to manage all the services the way they want to, included “pre-allocated services”. We will talk about “Temperature Gauge”, our tool to add monitoring to services via Prometheus Node Exporter, or other tools that can provide basic metrics to the dashboard for monitoring and alerting. We can forward alerts to the Developer, the Operators, and Data Team, so no team is left blind anymore. Show how we can help automate the backups for services in PCF/OCF Finally, we will discuss upgrading services, and multi-home services (add the same Blacksmith to two CF's in different regions and share a service)
